First ride of 2011
« on: April 02, 2011, 04:01:51 PM »
The weather was too tempting today so i fired up the bike and went for a ride. It felt good to be back on the bike after a few months off.

She needs a load of work done to her but that'll wait until the weather warms up more.

I hope the rest of you who are plagued with winter will be riding soon.  :beers:

It's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow.

75 degrees down here yesterday so there were several bikes out from the winter break. I used to live in North Dakota so I can relate to the winter blues!! :penguin:

And I bitch about not being able to ride on the occasional rainy day here in San Diego.  But I do ride all year so it's all good.

Rode for 3 days (60 degrees ) in NM, then it snowed.  . Towed the bike to my new home in Cali. Except for four rain days, every day is ridin  day...even at 20 degree F. But we are entering the desert's rainy season now.

Wow,.. I feel for you all in Ontario.  We haven't seen the latest snow (yet), but looking at the pics I snapped on April Fools Day, I guess it's obvious why we're not riding yet.  The snow aside,.. there are sandboxes all over the region missing all of their sand.  Some joker left it all over all of the roads!

And yes, the car's been washed since.
