A friend of mine replaced his brake pads today...



There should be a cross shape in there, usually about 2 mm deep. I can't see it :shock:





That's done on public roads by the way, I can't imagine what it will look like if used on a track :duh: It's an original Suzuki brake pad, no cheap junk. Makes you wonder doesn't it :stickpoke:

if they were changed more often they probably wouldn't be that way.

On the second picture you see the plastic parts of the pistons, same as the first picture. These are stock brake pads, not ceramic race pads. When ceramic pads are almost worn out they loose their compound, but the stock ones should not under most conditions :lol:
