It seems like every year after riding for a while in the Summer, I start having problems in the Fall with low RPM chugging. I'm wondering if this is common with the GSF400? I've noticed that there is a depression around the gas tank lid that likes to hold water, and the tank has visible surface rust inside now. I'll probably have to have the carbs cleaned and kreem the tank... Any suggestions?
I also have an aftermarket Yoshi pipe, so I'm fairly certain that the carbs are slightly jetted, but I don't have problems after 5,000 RPM's...
I love this bike. If I can get around this recurring problem, I'd keep it for a while. As it stands I'm thinking about selling for something fuel injected, and newer of course.
