Selling / Parting out my 1991 B400
« on: March 10, 2012, 12:29:45 AM »
Hi All, I am going to be parting out my b400 - or selling it

I live in northwest NJ in Warren County. I’m open for offers for the whole thing if you are able to pick it up.

Let me know the parts you need or want and I’ll start dismantling to post on eBay. I'll re-post to let you know when the parts are up.

I'm going to be in the garage tomorrow afternoon working on my car and may have some time to start dismantling

Condition: Bought it last spring.  On a whole the bike was running fine but idling a little high at 2,000rpm. Just before the fall, the engine had difficulty getting started. I went in to change the spark plugs thinking it would help and a wire broke free from one of the boots so the wiring from the coils to the plugs definitely needs replacement. I suspect the coils or cdi may be contributing to the problem. That said, i added stabilizer to the tank before garaging for the winter but with broken wiring it hasn’t run since fall so the carbs will likely need a cleaning.

NEW: brake pads, brake fluid flushed, battery, Regulator Rectifier.

Getting rid of it for several reasons: Money, Time, Seeing too many motorcycle fatalities at work (auto claims), my fiancé, having to drive to PA to garage it at my parents, etc.

How much do you want for your wiring harness and the little plastic square that goes directly behind the passenger seat? I def want the plastic square if the price is right.

I've got all the parts requested!

I should have a change to start pulling the bike apart before the end of the month to list parts and start shipping.

I'll get back to you all on the prices soon!

A few parts have already been snatched up.

The parts I was emailed / PMed about have not been posted.

I still need to remove a few more parts from the bike.

If anyone is interested, these parts will be available within a few weeks: (email me)

A bunch of parts have already been snatched up by other buyers.

If anyone is interested, these parts will be available within a few weeks: (email me)
Fuel Tank, Petcock, Wheels, Frame with Title, Engine, Swing arm, Rear Shock, Front forks & yolk, rear caliper, rear brake lines,  rear master cylinder, handlebars, fairly new sprockets (less than 50 miles).
