So I pulled my carbs again--didn't even know which way I was supposed to turn the idle adjustment (clockwise!)-- I had unscrewed it from the carb body...
post 37 motivated me install my new o-rings on the idle adjustment screws--I had pulled them out and they looked fine, and I figured, 'how important can they be?' Well, apparently...
