KillerB???
« on: March 08, 2005, 09:07:19 AM »
I don't remember if KillerB ever made an appearance on the new BBS before it crashed.  Isn't this his bike on ebay?  One of the best lookin' B4s I've seen.  Gorgeous.

Looks like it might have issues with the tranny and the jetting.  Get rid of the bling-tacular chrome and yellow rad cover and it's a nice looking bike.  I think the one on this BBS had a standard yosh exhaust though, not a high mount...could be wrong.

Yeah - I thought KillerB was from Cali or somewhere out West.

Gotta say - the chrome doesn't bug me.  Guess I like a little bling!  The rad cover is a bit much, though.  Speaking of them, I really do like that stainless one that's always on ebay.  WAY too expensive, though.

For the price, you'd figure they'd at least centre the word "bandit" in the little rectangle. Oh, well. I wouldn't mind one without the writing.

Killer B had polished engine casings so I doubt that's his bike... same colour scheme though which is odd. Whoever picked it up got an alright deal asuming the stated problems aren't too major. Won't catch me doing that much polishing and selling the bike for $2000.

Hey guys, sorry for the disappearance!  No, that wasn't my bike on eBay, although that guy put a lot of work into his yellow B4.  Come this April 20th, I will have had my bandit for 10 years.  Hard to believe it's been that long.  I don't think I could ever sell my B4.  Sure, I may buy another bike, but I've got too much sentiment invested in this bike.  So here's the deal, the B4 is still up and running, but all the rains in So Cal and too much work have made rides few and far between.  I have another set of body parts (tank and tail fairing) that I plan to have painted.  I'm also considering stripping down to the frame and having it repainted.  My Kat 600 front end swap was put on hold when five of the rotor bolts broke off and I couldn't get them out.  I plan to have a machinist remove them, but spare time's been hard to come by.  I also have a second set engine cases that I plan to powdercoat black with stainless case bolts.  So a lot of plans are in order.  Unfortunately I'm at a job "crossroads" which has caused me to put things on hold for a while.  I'll try to be a regular face here like I was on the old board.    Here's a pic of me, my dad and our two Bandits on our last ride.

Great to see you on the new BBS.  You might have rain in CA, but at least it doesn't snow, haha.
Hey, what kind of rearsets do you have on your bike, there is a thread where  a guy wants new rearsets, not familiar with yours.
BTW your bike still looks great...I hate it, haha (is there a green with envy emoticon?)
