opening the CDI

hi i have a gsf250vy aussie delivered model
just got it it is having some timing ignition trouble
i want to open up the cdi to check the caps and board to make sure it looks ok

how do i do this?
it looks like one solid plastic box

part number is
BB7285
J17 0A21

i did a search found heaps of posts on what to do in regards to replacing caps etc
but none of the posts address opening the box

I've never done it myself but there is some discussion about it in this thread at the end of page 1 beginning of page 2.

Best way to open the box is as pictures below.


There is glue around the edge so you need to give it a fair bit of stick to open.

Don't cut the entire top off the box as some 'how-tos' say to do.  Just break the bead of glue and it will slide out.

mines a bit different its the australian delivered gfs250v
it doesnt have the 2 side arms for the screws and there are no visible joins

it does have what appears to be a section with clear soft plastic
so im hoping it comes apart like the one above

Is it a multi 12 pin type box? the B4 one is very light and you can feel the box flex if you press it. Im wondering if the 250 V is the same as the 400 V as if you try and open it you find the inside is full of very dense foam so you cannot get to the board part of the cdi.
