Let's learn a little more about fellow b4 owners
« on: March 27, 2006, 01:55:37 PM »
I'm just curious how big some of you guys out there are.

I'm 6'1 and 175 pounds. I guess the Bandit is a little bit small for me.

What about you guys?

6'4", 270lbs...

previous bikes include an EX250 and an RS125... (err,  well, and a ZXR1100, CB1100f and a half dozen VFRs ~ heh).

I like small bikes better though.
Cheers,

I'm 5'10"/160lbs or so.  We had a thread like this a long time ago on the old board.  I think you'll be surprised how many 6-footers we have.  Of course, there's also gsxr400racer who's like 4-foot something.   :stickpoke:

6' (all legs) ~165lbs, I too like the smaller bikes, even though I can flat foot them and lift my rear a good 2+ inches off the seat, haha.

6'4" 220lbs (100kg)

The bandit is my second bike, my first bike was a yamaha fzx250 which is even smaller!

The only bigger bike I've ridden was a yamaha trx850, but that was just a short go up and down the street.

Hmm, i don't consider myself not small, but with my 178cm ~= 5'10 it seems i'm a little short..
Probably my 66kg ~= 145lb, won't make things better

My first impression of getting on this bike is that it is made for short people, but you just need to bend yourself in the right direction and then "all is well"

5'-10" and 185 lbs.  The B4 is way too small for me.  I wound up making rearsets and installing clip ons, beefed up the front and rear suspension and it is just about right now.  I mimicked the peg/seat/bar relationship of a late model GSXR in positioning everything.  BTW, I only use it for track days.

5' 11" 135 lbs. With levers adjusted and lower handle bars the bike fits me perfectly -- until I come to a stop. Then I feel a bit silly with my legs bent and my knees hanging out. Not as bad as riding the crf50 though. Then I feel like one of those bears that ride bicycles in the circus.

feet flat with some bend in knee
I think its only a 31inch seat stock.

5'11''   ~  180cm

165-170lbs  ~  75-80Kg

The B4 seems to fit me just fine.  And, it's easy on the insurance.

Who has the signature "but sir, it's just a 400"?  I like that!
I've actually read 'Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance'.... it sucked!
