Wow,thats a really horrific looking engine, even if it runs!

The V model had variable valve control (VTEC)....helps a small engine to make more power by altering the valve breathing to better match the RPMS/load.We never got them in the states since the B4 was axed before the 2nd gen version came out.
I only waited 15 years, to buy a B4!!

The motor looks like it was just dragged out of the ocean. I'm pretty sure you'd need to modify the frame to fit that motor. The varible valve frames are slightly different.

We went over this before....  the stock VV frames are different in such a way that the VV motor won't fit the earlier frames.  It's a cross-brace somewhere ~ I didn't pay a Whole lot of attention at the time.  The info (including pics IIRC) are in this very forum and from within the last year.

A cut out in the cross brace ( someone with a brain like mine scary, ... i think i remember, some time ago, i seen one somewhere, back in the day, back in high school....) And brian is absolutley correct. We as in people on this forum have tried a 400 in a 250 frame a vv in a regular 75 frame and many other stuff its all in the search and there is so much info on here that is why it is the number one bandit forum on the net!!!!!!!

If one of you should happen to find the post(s) that pertains to engine swaps, let me know and we can put the posts, or the important info anyway, into the FAQ so it's easier to find.

OK.... That first one has been moved to the FAQ.

BTW - anyone is free to post or PM me with anything that should be moved to the FAQ.  I'll do my best to get 'em over there.  It's kind of a pain in the ass because I can't do it from the post, I have to find the page it's on when I'm in "moderator mode."

 I had already moved the second one to the FAQ because I thought it had more info.
 :bandit:

Oh well, can't hurt to have 'em both in there. And the second one is linked to in the one Pitter moved. (I updated the url to match the stormi.ca address instead of the old alley.com one.)

I thought the first one was more informative especially with link to the second.   :bandit:
