A few more small things done tonight. I will try to have the front sprocket and and rear sprocket carrier milled tomorrow.

am in the middle of front & rear end project myself, looking at the photo of your rear wheel..i take the wheel more then 4.5  !  due to you rework/milling of the sprocket and that the tire looks wider

what is the wheel size 5.5 !!! & tire width !

Yes, the wheel is 5.5" with a 180. I did the same years ago on the bandit with the silver body for racing.

I got up early to put on mirrors before wife and baby had me.

whats the ride like with a 180 

Have you had any trouble with the offset sprocket in the pass on your racer.. ie wear.. broke out ! etc!!

i too do have 5.5 with 180

I didn't have trouble with the past bike and the machined sprocket. That silver race bike put out close to 70ho on a local dyno. The previous guy that made the sprocket is no longer in the area. So, I'm trying a new guy close to town. I think he will do a proper job. His shop is clean where it should be clean and "used" looking where it should be. He is also use to doing step out sprockets for drag bikes.
The silver bike with the 180 and RF swingarm was a little twitchy in the straights, but would turn like a TZ 250 GP bike. I put a stabilzer on it to help straight and turn transitions.

Ive looked at the Suzi Gladus and it's wheels would look real nice on the B4.

SV 1000 frame sliders installed. I am still waiting for the machinist to complete a 14T and 15T front sprocket.

"Irene" weather has me locked in the house today; so I did a few things:

* mounted gsxr passenger pegs, I will weld a bracket later. For now this mock up bracket has been tested to hold my wife.
* installed HD tail light
* fixed light for license plate, seat lock cable now runs throuch license plate hole, all mounted under rear fender and visible ......as state law requires.

a good paint job is the way to go to finish off a great bike project like yours, regards to chrome frame.. depending on what you mean by that!!  a paint job that looks like chrome or do you mean chrome plated...

no i hadn't when i was deciding what to do with my frame..someone in my area had done it. it look grant.. but luckily i didn’t... i didn't want to do the same as he had. it wasn't till bandit alley.. Red01 post, and then google it.

Regards to powder coating its quite surprise what colour they can do, there a powder coating company down the road from me
I thinking of getting my wheels powder coating...depending on £££££ and if they can match the orange that i used, it would save me some time.

conventional liquid paint come in many colour, its possible thats there is chrome looking paint, but remember what ever colour you pick!.. ie, black ! That not all blacks are not the same.

when i pick the colour that i used @ friend paint supply shop that he owns , let me brows through lots of colour books. i found the bike colour were costly.. in the end i went with car colours, i matched a black & orange that i think go well together and as a plus i used good single pack top clear coat... which i think gives a better deep.

with clear coat don't cut on cost otherwise in the long run you'll pay for it!
