The solution:
I did everything what you and the members of the german forum wrote.
One member wrote, that I should change the wire from the pickup. The brown/blackblue, which is on the left side of the CDI.
??? No question at all. I've done it.
The amazing thing: It works. I can't belive it. See the picture. It shows the connector under the seat:
And I measured it. From brown to the CDI its the brown and from blackblue its to the blackblue at the CDI. There ist no hidden switch or change in the wiring hairness.
The Pickup works in an other Bandit. And the CDI also does.
Why? No ideas. But I'm happy. Never ever I would change theses wires. It was a good idea.
Btw: a picture of the Bandit:
May this threat help anybody with a misterious problem.
Original message:
Hello.
I'm Frank and introtuced myself in the Introduce-Threat.
My daughters b4 has a ignition-problem.
I work on motorcycle for about 28 years.
The problem: There is no spark.
What have I done: I own both Ignitions 32900-10D00 and 32900-10D60. I own both rotors 12600-32814 and 12600-32853.
I tested the old Ignition in an other b4. In this bike, I tested my coils with sparking plug caps an the sparking plugs. And it works.
But not in my bike.
Yesterday I changed the signal generator assy (#33110-10D00). I've got two of them from my used sparepart dealer.
There is no spark with any of this 3 items.
I made a separte wiring harness for the ignition system. But it didn't work.
Possible solutions: All of this 3 signal generator assys are damaged (There is 90 - 95 ohm at every part)
A bad attitude in my garage.
Different cable-connection at the ignition box?
Any ideas?
