Hey thanks for the link, its quite detailed so will take me some time to read it again and again till it goes through into my head..

In the meantime, the bike has gone to the garage to be fixed or whatever, I will ask the mechanic what the problem is once he's had a look through.

Well, my B4 is back from the mechanic.. yaaay.

And it was a bad voltage rectifier..  Good catch gsxr400 and veromde.

She's up and peppy now and I'm ready to take her out for a spin on Friday..
