Well the engines apart the frame is stripped and I've measured my piston/cylinder clearance, as long as calipers were the tool for the job? Seriously I don't need special tools to measure clearance do I?
With 9000 miles on the bike the clearances are towards the tighter end of spec. I'm thinking rehone, re-ring new gaskets and put it back together.
While the bike is apart I've decided to pick up some paint. I'm going with gunmetal grey for the frame and the stock dark blue for the tank.
