Obviously, I've never worked on a 250 but I would imagine you would definitely have to rejet.  Just by punching a couple 1 inch holes in my airbox, I'm up about 4-5 sizes on my mains.  Pods would flow a ton more air than my modded airbox.  Also - how do the plastic side panels attach on the 250?  On the 400, it bolts into the airbox.  You'd have to figger somthing out there, too.  Good luck!

cheers rob I will go with the re-jet anyway. Also the side pannels attach to the frame and the tank so there would be no probs there.

I had looked into the idea but was told by the mechanic at the local Suzuki dealer that this would actualy cause problems with the consistancy of the air/fuel mixture to each carby resulting in balancing problems.

The reason I was told was that the airbox is designed to maintain consistancy in air pressure/flow/volume that each carby draws on.

As a result, I never went ahead with the idea so I cannot tell you if this is true or not.
