no aftermarket throttle cables are there?
« on: July 18, 2005, 09:50:04 PM »
snapping the throttle cable in the middle of a nice night ride sucks
riding home controlling gas with the idle speed screw sucks

haven't called my local suzuki shops yet because they open tuesday
but most eveyone seems to not have the cable in stock

there aren't any universal throttle cables are there?
none of the online retailers seem to have any options for the b4
everything seems to be either cruiser ATV or motorcross

yeah i found the motion pro.  they sell just the internal cable with universal end pieces you can cut then install yourself.  its supposed to be sold with the atermarket throttle grip for use with carbs that are larger or smaller than what you are using.  thats too much customization and fiddling for my stock motor & carbs.  There seems to be no aftermarket drop in throttle cable ass. for the b4.  It'd be easier to just go with the OEM this time I think.  No one locally has the motion pro cable anyway.
