mine is a 91 usa non cali model, not sure if that makes a difference
runs fine nice big spark & stock coils
so this is what you are supposed to have if it works

Quote from: "Maniac"
First of all, it's not a CDI. It's a Digital Igniter. Whats the difference? One is a microcomputer (Similar to the spark control box in your car), the other isn't.
:grin:

small connector closer to front
orange = no voltage
black/blue stripe = no voltage

big connector closer to rear of bike
orange/white stripe = 2volts
black/white stripe = no voltage
white = 3.5 volts
black/green stripe = no voltage

I'm glad I checked this stuff for you
I found my head light connections got loose again
I'm glad I caught & fixed it tonight instead
of on the road or before I had to go someplace.

let me know if you need anything else

with your modded bike did you keep the
stock fuse boxes as our bandits?

Does anyone know what a '33D00' CDI box is? I only know of the '10D00' box.
