Hi,

Sounds like you're in the UK from the way you've worded your post.

The red top means it has variable valve timing. It's supposed to give more power across the rev range.

More general info here: http://www.suzukicycles.org/Bandit-series/GSF400-Bandit.shtml

Dunno about the rev limit. I've hardly been over 10k on mine yet (still getting used to it). Would be interested in knowing the answer though.

WH Accessories (www.whaccessories.com) do a solo seat cowl for the bandit 400. They are based in Germany, but will only sell through the US, and only take phone orders, according to the website, so good luck.

Powerbronze in the UK do a belly pan.

Any exhaust with a 2-inch/51mm diameter will fit the standard system as a slip-on. Look out for zxr400 or zzr400 parts on e-bay, or at wreckers. No-one does a full system for the bandit 400 as far as I know (headers,  pipes and can).

However, if you're after a dual pipe set-up, you will need to replace a few parts. See here for details: http://forums.banditalley.net/viewtopic.php?t=6558

If you want to replace the front end, have a look under the 250/400 FAQ's. There is a sticky thread entitled front-end swaps.

Happy?
