Yeah I heard that from my roommate today, he was doing research on the B4s, and said they top at 112, I've had mine to an indicated 120+. Wacky no?

The speed on the indicator is not really accurate... 10km/h off is normal, thus more offset is possible.
At school we did a comparosion test with a V-strom 1000 on a dyno, brand new model (2 years ago though), it had an offset of 14km/h at 100km/h
,so 114km/h equaled 100km/h..

The only way to be completely sure and accurate is by using a GPS system. Or just assume you're 10km/h slower than what you're reading on the speedo.

Give or take the Speed is usually or so say 10% +3 or at least that's what my work colleague was informed by a UK Traffic Plod!

In all i've found that its normally 13mph more than your actually doing! :?:
