Do any 1999 bikes still use a mechanical speedo?
The B4 tach will work no prob, its 4 cylinder and electric. The B4 speedo is cable driven off the front tire.
I only waited 15 years, to buy a B4!!

The redline is probably marked higher on the B4 tach.
I don't know if the size and mounting of the clocks are the same, or similar, though.

The '99 B6 does use a mechanical speedo driven by a cable off the front wheel, like the B4. They didn't go electronic until 2000 (2001 for the B12) when they went to the 2G body style..
