Scrapped my passenger pegs
« on: December 09, 2005, 09:32:53 AM »
Got rid of my passenger pegs recently. A buddy of mine fabbed a stainless muffler hanger for me. The picture doesn't do it justice... it is beeyoootiful.

Now I've just gotta get the Euro stainless exhaust !

I also made a small bracket to relocate the seat latch release, which is less than beautiful, but here it is.

Pretty trick!   :bigok:

I got rid of my seat lock altogether.  I just have the cable ziptied to the subframe with the little lead ball exposed.  I just pull on that to release the seat.

Thanks guys,
Greggy, I agree. I like the look of the high mount cans, but I like my nice quiet stock system too much to give it up.
Rob, I think I'm going to either do what you did with the cable pull, or try to relocate the key mechanism up near the reg/rect.
Regards,
Steve
