Vortex rear sprockets?

Has anyone any experience of the Vortex alloy rear sprockets for the B4?anyone know if they are any good.
Of interest to anyone racing a B4 is that they list a 520 conversion that should give a little more power.

I don't have a B4 but, maybe this will help you.
I have had one on my 1200s for 10 k miles with the 520 conversion and it hardly looks worn so far.
I would say I am an average rider, mostly to and from work with small amounts of playing tossed in.

Hope they post to the UK!!

Vortex makes nice stuff. I had one on the B4. I don't remember if it was before or after the 520 conversion.

They are 525 as standard so will need a front sprocket to match? anyone know if the RGV250 will fit?

they list a 520 rear for the b4 but not a front, or 525 front for that matter..? I need a whole new set on my project bike, as the front one is worn to hell and has stress fractures, and the rear is hooking too.

Gsxr 250 Rk (GJ73A) 1989 or Gsf 250 (GJ74A) 92/96 are 520.
Same center at 19.5/22mm with 13 splines- Dont know what the standard amount of teeth is tho! and you will have to use a washer to take up the thickness difference.

this is a common sprocket I got mine from JT sprockets and some from sprocket specialist... Seems like a sv or rgv or gs500 search and you will find...520 only way to roll

That was my first guess but they got 21.6/25mm centres so no good, the gsf/gsx250 were the only ones i could find or the DR sprockets are 520 but have a lip that makes them 10mm wide, could be machined back to 7mm but bit pricey.Emailed them and a guy there called Lee has been most helpful so will give one a go!

Yeah - the SV is a no-go for the front but does fit the rear. Somebody used to have a front for the the B4. Do a search... I'm sure there's a post around here somewhere.
