Thanks alot for the help guys.

It must have been the water, it fired up nearly straight off once i put it back together.

But as its my luck were on here, i now have a fuel leak from one of the carbs. Brilliant...

Anyone know where a can get a float bowl seal in the UK if at all possible?

If it truly is from the float bowl, try taking the carb apart and reseating the seal.  We had one of the seals leak once, and it was because it got pinched a little when putting it back together.  Once it was reseated, we haven't had a problem with it since.

Otherwise, any chance it's from the drain on the bottom of the carb, from when you were draining them?  Perhaps it wasn't done up tight enough after draining?  done that before.   :duh:

The drain screw is definately tight enough. I'll have a go at swapping the seals on two of the carbs to check if that is the problem.

Good luck! Let us know how it goes.

With ours, it was really obvious.  Perhaps yours will be the same.   :bigok:

Sorted the fuel leak. I dont know how i did it, but i forced the float assembly into the wrong place.  :duh:
With that sorted i proceeded to go for a ride.

It felt brilliant. I havent ridden for over two months and the power shocked me like it did the first time id ridden it.

On the way home i went down a nice, scenic, tree-lined road, and above me the trees were FULL of little birds, which proceded to fly off like leaves in autumn as i passed them. How lovely i thought....... It started to rain...... At least, i first thought it was rain, then i suddenly realised....."AHHHH THEY'RE SHITTING ON ME!!!". I swear to god i thought it was a little shower until a bit landed on my visor. Im glad i didnt have it open!
