Bike vandalized WTB B400 Red Tail Fairing
« on: January 20, 2008, 11:11:33 AM »
Some punks kicked in my bike this weekend. I'm all sorts of pissed off right now. The bad news is they shattered it's tail fairing which is probably impossible to find. If anyone has any leads on a red tail let me know (I'd rather not have to repaint it as that gets expensive in a hurry). I guess it could have been worse, the only other damage I noticed was a broken clutch lever.

Mike, I know a couple of those have popped up on Ebay.

Also, someone in CA was parting out a couple of 400's here. AFAIK, they had complete bodywork. Their info was in the FS section

Thanks for the support. I'm not raging nearly as bad today -- it's only parts. But it does sadden me that people get enjoyment out of ruining other people things. I've put a lot of effort into keeping that old girl in okay shape.

I've found a few RH sides on ebay. Unforunately it's the left side that got shattered. I'm lucky that I parked in gear and up against a wall. The vandals weren't able to tip my bike. The other bikes in my garage all ended up side ways -- if my tank got dented I would have cried.
