250/400 frame differences
« on: August 11, 2006, 11:57:06 AM »
Gentlemen,
I have recently discovered that i have a 250bandit with a broken frame...
What i can get my hands on is a 400bandit frame......

Can anyone tell me is it a straight swap over or is there very much difference between the two?

Cheers,
J

The bandit 4 and the 250 frames are diffrent the b4 has topmounts at the rear for the engine
im not sure if the rear mounts are the same I looked into it some time ago and came to the conclusion that they wouldnt work I know that the 4 engine dont fit the 250 frame without majour work to the frame

Ive got a spare 250  frame  in the shed complete with V5 documents

yours for £40 + postage ?

Cheers

Andy

I'm too tired/lazy to go looking right now but, isn't/didn't Echomadman drop a 400 motor in his 250 frame?

Bl**dy parcel farce

just because it's an odd size they want a small fortune to ship to the repubic.

£35 anywhere in the uk

OR

£150 to the republic ( because it's international and goes on the size of the space it takes up not it's true weight)

Guess i'll stick it back in the shed
