New style 600/1200s Lowering Links
Was alerted to these in an email.....
"It took some hunting, but I finally found a set of lowering links for the 2002 Bandit 1200S. Diamond Power Sports has a set of lowering links with a drop of either 2" or 4" for $65.00 made specifically for this bike. Check out Diamondpowersports.com. I had them installed (2" drop) at the dealer for another $123.00 and I now stand flat footed on my Bandit. I lost almost an inch of ground clearance, but it actually improved my bikes handling.

It "improved" her handling if she thought the bike was too quick and/or twitchy before.
FWIW, the links on the 600 & 1200 Bandits are not the same. For instance, if you use links made to raise a B12 1.25" on a B6 (they will fit), it will raise a B6 2". Conversely, if you used a set of links to lower a B12 2" it would lower a B6 1.25".

Dunno about the tech stuff. Being 6'7" means I don't have to worry about lowering the bike...
Just passed on the info. Since lowering the bikes seems to be a constant topic...

Being 5'12", it hasn't been a concern of mine either - in fact I raised mine... but those of shorter stature as well as those into the drag racing scene prefer to put the exhaust collector closer to the speed bumps.
