I found this ciggarete lighter socket with a cap in amazon for 7$
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002KRC5Y/ref=pd_rvi_gw_1/102-9722533-2060161?ie=UTF8
I want to install it on my bike to power my gps. Do you think it will work ok? It seems to be a sturdy design and the lighter also locks in place!

Should work fine if you want to run such a giant plug.
(Understandable if the appliances you want to run see duty in your cage.)
