99' 1200 jet kit ID

I have a 99' Bandit 1200s with a jet kit installed.How can I tell which kit manufacturer it is by looking at the parts?Bike runs awfull and needs adjustment.

The Needle is probaly going to be the hint.

The needles have 5 grooves.Stock pilot jet 37.5 Main jet installed is 102.5 Mikuni jet.

Damn that's funny, the jets are all stock and yet there is a jet kit needle in it.  I think, but not for sure, The Dyno jet needle has six grove from what I can tell by the picture, and unfortunately Dale doesn't show pictures of is needles anymore, I don't know what Ivans has the picture is unclear.  

But I can tell you if you are running a free flow air filter (i.e. K&N or something similar) and a free flow can.  You should change the jets.  Then for the needle put it in the 2nd or 3rd postition, and maybe 3 to 3.25 turns on the A/F mixture screw.... If you have Pod filters that is a whole new animal and requires a bigger main jet.  If you just want to order the jets then I know where you can get them without having to order a whole new kit.

May not be as funny as you think, Asphalt. Warrior doesn't say where he's from. AFAIK, only the US & Canada get non-adjustable needles stock, the rest of the world gets adjustable needles.

Warrior, what makes you so sure it's got a kit in it? If the bike has a non-stock can and/or airbox mods, is it possible it runs like crap because it does NOT have a kit?

If you've got Mikuni jets in it, you can rule out Dynojet and K&N. They use Dynojet's own jets and numbering system. Most other companies use genuine Mikuni jets.

If the bike came to you with a kit and no one told you what kit it was, you may not be able to tell (besides what I stated above). It could be very difficult to identify needles from different sources unless there is something unique about them. It may take precision measurements to tell the difference between needles made by different sources. You'd probably have to contact Factory-Pro, Ivan's or Holeshot and ask if they can tell you how to ID their kit when installed.
