Following advice from this board and
Maximum_Suzuki I adjusted my TPS on my bike.
Before reading were:
#1 Measurement: 5.23k Ohms
#2 Measurement: 4.25k OhmsNow, if you read the instructions, it makes you think that it's within spec, but they are just siting those figures as examples.
You NEED to measure #1 resistance to know what to shoot for on the 2nd measurement (which would be 76% of measurement #1). So I decided to try the adjustment with the help of my girlfriend (hard to hold meter leads and twist the throttle at the same time!).
Instructions (I saved this from either this board or Max-Suzuki, someone posted it, sorry I can't give the credits but thank you!)
After adjustment readings were:
#1 Measurement: 5.23k Ohms (this reading will never change)
#2 Measurement: 3.96k OhmsTechnically it's not exactly the 76% I was looking for, but I'll ride it and decide if I want to fuss with the extra .01%, hehe.

I tried to take the same position pictures, but I think the 2nd pic is actually off kilter even more than the first, so use the TPS as a reference as to how much change was needed to get the 76%.
Also changed the oil/filter since owning it (picked it up last October). Glad I did. It was low (hello dummy, check the oil, there's a nifty little window to do so, makes it a snap!), and previous owner used a freaking Napa oil filter.
I picked up an OEM Suzuki filter and went with full Synthetic Mobil 1. Did a bunch of reading and I see no reason why not to run this oil. Hell, I ran Castrol Synthetic in my old Kawi ZX-10, never had any problems with its' wet clutch.
Anyways, hope this helps someone.

P.S. Mileage when I picked it up in Oct '07 was 2700 something. It's now just a tick over 5000. :) Not too late for the Synthetic I'd say, and I doubled the miles on the bike in less than 3 months with what the previous owners didn't do in 2 years!
