Prior to having my fork seals replace last summer, I really didnt have a problem with the front shaking if I took my hands off the bars. After I got the work done the Service guy noted on my Bill that the front tire was cupped and need a new one because of wheel shake. Well I asked him to explain what he meant by Cupped. Because I only had 3k miles on this set of tires and I am constantly checking to see if the tires are low on air and what the wear on them is like... So when he looked at the tire, he looked up at me and couldn't make himself say it...then said "Well I didnt notate that on your bill and your tire looks fine..HMMM." So I chatted with him a little about what might cause this problem and the only thing he could come up with was that the tire needed a little more air or that it was out of balance.....??????
I have not gone back to have them check the balance, but I'm thinking that there is more wrong then meets the eye. Any suggestions or comments I will gladly take..
After a 10 or 15 mile ride my arms are more tired then usual, and i think its because I have to be a steering stabilizer, and I am working out my arms. It sucks cause I use to like coasting down hill with out hands on the bars to rest my hands and arms once in a while... but now if I take my hands off the bars...DAMN...feel like the front is gona shimmy until the bars turn and I go over the front end.
