I have the Sudco Mikuni tuning manual, if you need any info from it, just let me know.
On my 38s, I have found that they work best, set up just like they came. When I run the velocity stacks,
I have to change the main jets and needle jets.
If I didn't have a Suzuki, I would have a Kawasaki

I have had a few Mikuni carbs in my time and yes I am with BHolland just try them as is, then see how they act. Most of the time they are just plug and play.
One thing is some have the throttle on the Left side (guess for Gixer's) and most have the throttle in the center (for Katana's and Bandit's) But even with that they are still just plug and play . I have the 36's on my drag bike for now and ..................... 12 years later and I still love them you can rejet them in a flash if need be, and I think you will be very happy with the mods you have done and these carbs.  :thumb:

I don't know, when I started running flatslides, I knew I would need help tuning them, so I ordered the book from Mikuni.
If I didn't have a Suzuki, I would have a Kawasaki

Well that just could be a coincidence then Tom was just a good guy and good racer from OH that had a bike shop named Sudco in OH.
