Rear Shock Spring for 1998 Bandit 1200?

I would like to stiffen up my 98 Bandit. I have located fork springs. I was wondering if I can put a stiffer rear spring on the OEM shock.
I saw a spring listed on UK eBay
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hyperpro-Progressive-Rear-Shock-Absorber-Spring-Suzuki-GSF-1200-Bandit-95-00-/151026007484?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts_13&hash=item2329d9fdbc
I would like to buy one state side if possible.
Trying to save a little $ as opposed to the Progressive 465 or finding a used mid 90s GSXR 750/1100 one and having it rebuilt.
