B12 into a B6

I heard somewhere that the B12 motor will fit into a B6....I have a 2002 B6 so what year B12 motor would I need to buy???  Thanks

there prolly is differances in the B6 compared to the B12 . its only millimetres but that counts. Well I imagine a straight swap would do but be careful.

Well it should be alright.....its going into a drag bike thats about to be taken off the street with the new motor swap.  Before its all over I wanna get the 1200 to a 1371 and have all the extra's that are need for a serious drag bike.

The motor is going in this:

I would stick with a B12 as there is no real weight savings with a B6 frame.  unless you got a great deal on the B6 and a B12 motor, I'd stay with the B12.

I got the b12 motor for 350 bucks....is that a good enough deal???
