britxbike: My speedo might be wrong but I did 150MPH the other night with a little room to go. I'm talking bone stock here, am I missing something?

Have you lost your mind?     And that's all I have to say about that.

Where'd you do it?  Out on 121 towards Bonham?

Service road between Jupiter and Ave K for the GB. Ever been down it DA?...

Brian, I haven't.  I try to go north of McKinney because it's wide open unpopulated.  121 N. is a great ride.  We ought to take it on together sometime so I can show you what fast really is!     By the way, have you still been riding with Rose Knight and those guys?  I haven't seen any invites in a long time.

Sorry for hijacking, guys, but I can't control myself.  Jim's influence is everywhere!

Agreed on the riding part sometime. I actually ran into Rose knight a few weeks ago at Cyclegear in Plano. He's joined up with a Texas cycle group and less GS. He wasn't real happy with the last GS hill country ride.

We need to put him on a Bandit!  Then bring him over here where the real men post!

I got up to 210km/h indicated and it was still pulling hard, but the traffic was too much to go faster. If you look at my sig I would hardley call my bike "super modified". In fact it's probably one of the least modified here.
2005 Bandit 1200, Modified Holeshot Stage 1 with 17.5 pilots 2.75 turns out, and 110 mains 5 shims. Muzzy Slip on w/mid-pipe, stock filter. 1.5" hole in the airbox lid.

01 B12
homegrown jet and airbox hole
Muzzy full exhaust
PAIR delete

Indicated 155 at just under 9000 rpm, still pulling but my buds GSXR 1000 saw an indicated 172 so I gave up the chase.

Figure the speedo was a bit optimistic on both bikes, but the Bandit should be able to get there
01 B12S, "slick silver". Muzzy Exhaust, homegrown jet kit
