Yep, once you are all done with the upgrades you are close enough to a B12 cost wise that you might as well just go straight to the B12. I have learned the hard way that once you put all the money into upgrades it really doesn't help on the resale. I think that only thing that helps mine is the alarm. Of course maintaining. You can find a B12 just about any where for 2,500 to 3,200. In most cases if you sell the bike you have you will be over half way there. Then add the money you are about to pump in for the upgrades you were going to do, and there you go.....a B12 with more power than you could have upgraded to with the bike you have. Plus later on, if you are still "SCREAMING" for more power (and most B12's for sale actually already have minor upgrades i.e. jetting, exhaust, air filter, and in some cases the suspension) then you can opt for a stage 2 about 160 bucks, plus GSXR cams for about 320 buck shipped, and you can get some nasty power out of it. If you want to go further with the piston upgrade then you have a torque monster that can ride the ass of a gsxr 1000 and below (stock of course). The bandit wieghs more than most most of the crotch rockets these days so anything more than that then you should invest into a sports bike. Just another mans oppinion.....take it how you want.
