crankcase pressure, timing related?
« on: May 30, 2012, 01:53:32 PM »
Over the weekend I did the poor mans ignition advance, everything went well. The throttle response is much improved, bike runs strong and everything.

Now this is where it gets weird, I have stared to develop oil leaks from a couple of the valve cover bolts, all the bolts are tight and the gaskets look like they are in good shape. Oil also stared to seep past the oil filler cap. These have to pressure leaks, not bad gasket leaks. Oil level is fine, not over full or anything. The breather hose is not kinked or blocked, so I am out of ideas.

Would changing the timing affect the pressure that much?
