EBC Organic (Kevlar) brake pads

Has anyone used these on a 1st Gen Bandit? Are they as good as the stock brake pads?

EBC Organic (Kevlar) brake pads

Sure did.  I used the EBC organic pads.  Actually, I knew they were EBC, but I didn't realize they were the organic ones until I reviewed my order history on bikebandit.com.  But yes, I am using them on my rear brake and they are no better or worse than my other ones.

I think performance wise, it would be easier to detect poor brake pad quality in the front pads since those endure harder braking, but I have about 3K on the rear pads and they seem just fine.

EBC Organic (Kevlar) brake pads

I had to replace both front brake discs due to thickness variations at about 18K miles.  The EBC replacements specified to use NEW pads for best results so I went with their Kevlar pads.

The break in took a while and afterwards I feel the "bite" is not quite up to the original pads.  Next time I"ll go with Dunlopads, which are metallic and have worked well in the past on other bikes I've owned.
