Ehaust Mods for '07 1250 w/Fuel Injection
« on: December 11, 2006, 03:52:56 PM »
I'm ordering a new '07 1250 next month. I don't know how they sound yet, but I know what I like! I want a deep, throbbing idle, a giant hornet power-howl, but still relatively quiet when I'm not "on it".

The digital fuel injection will be a factor with any exhaust mods. The oxygen sensor will need to be retained if the can is replaced, probably by drilling or tapping unless the new can provides for it. If I modify the stock exhaust it's no problem.

I wonder about re-mapping the computer though. Or will the computer self-adjust to the new information coming in from the O2 sensor? Will a new can come with a re-map? Is there anyone who does re-maps, or any aftermarket "black boxes" available for the '07?

Any help here will be greatly appreciated!  :thanks:

Dale Walker has said he too has one on order and that he will start manufacturing parts as soon as he can. Stay tuned to Holeshot.com. Not many have seen the bike in person.

Thanks.

I'm in central southern, just 15 minutes from the Arkansas border...
