How do i remove the airfilter box? Do i have to remove the tank, carbs and everything to get it out? Im replacing the original with k&n airfilters...
So if anyone has done it, please share your experiences..

I believe you do. I know on our B12s you have to remove the carbs before the air box can be persuaded out. If you are adding POD filters of sometype you will probably have to adjust your carbs anyway (idle mixture or needle height or jet sizes), which means those carbies will most likely have to come off.

Sorry I can't be more specific about the 600 carb work you'll need to do, I don't have experience with those 1/2 liter machines. I know their airbox is the same as my b12 and they are less restricted so you might luck out and not have to rejet, just minor idle mixture tweaking and possibly needle height adjustment.

Do you have the correct jet kit so the bike will actually run?
You'll need to pull the carbs to put in the jet kit, so yes, the tank, the seat, the little storage compartment by the battery, the carbs etc.

Im just changing the airfilter's, from stock to k&n..

You'll remove the seat, tank, and there's two screws on the top of the air box cover.

FYI - there's no performance gain on the B6 going to pods, just looks. The stock airbox flows enough air for the 600. You DO have to rejet to use pods, but the performance will be the same as a Stage 1 jetted 600.

I got the airfilter box out, and i had to move the carbs to get there... glad i dont have to do it more than once... But as you say Red, i need a dynojet kit... The bike now almost stops at 4000rpm's... too much air..
Anyone know any good places to get a kit like that? now the bike is running like a 50cc...

Dale Walker's Holeshot kit is what you need and is probably the only one that will work.

feel a little stupid....

Used to fixing up cars with the same type of filters... But anyway... ordering jetkit anyday now... Is it much work to replace the originals ?, and adjust the carbs? I have access to dyno...

No, it's not that difficult, and Holeshot's jet kits come with good instructions.
