Illuminating Question
« on: May 18, 2005, 11:40:07 PM »
...  sorry, but I haven't any response to this original post and I'm quite curious to know if there is something wrong with my speedo/tach backlight.

Does anybody find the backlight for the tach and speedo too dim at night?  I see no ability to adjust the brightness (as in a car).  I'm not looking for it to be as bright as a reading light   .. I just find that I cannot quickly see how fast I am speeding (err going) with a quick glance downward while driving at night.

Thoughts?

The backlighting on the 2G 600/1200 is by LED and not adjustable. I don't know if you could replace the LEDs with brighter ones or not. I haven't heard of anyone doing it.
