step 1 Scorpion bolt on
step 2 adjust mixture screws
step 3 shim needles.
so far not too bad but still a bit lean. Runs out of breath at higher revs. eg wind out in second switch to 3rd and bogs for a second or two till it gets breath back. so
step 4 drill 2" hole in air box.
now way too lean especially at 3/4 thottle or more.
must need bigger mains at least.

would a Holshot, Ivan's or Factory Pro jet kit be the best idea, or just go to larger pilots and mains?
Bandit owners seen to have bad luck with Dynojet.

Just adding 110 mains & 17.5 pilots to what you already have would be the moral equivalent of any commercial jet kit, and would definitely make the engine run like it was meant to.

Thats what I have and it works fine. However I think its a little rich. Maybe buy some 107.5's just in case they are only a few bucks each. Also I cut a 1.5" hole in the top of the airbox and used the stock filter. If you use the K&N it will be way too lean. I'm going to try 107.5's this year.

so if the 110's are too rich i will just make the hole bigger till it works
also i am using HiFlo filters

Well just because my bike is a bit rich I would still start out with 110's. Every bike is different. It's only slightly rich so I might just take a shim off or something. If you are using a K&N maybe go one up to 112.5 or something. I'm just using the standard settings from the Holeshot kit. I just got my bike out and have been doing alot of in town traffic type driving so I'll reserve judgement until I get out on the highway. I may be fine. I know there is a difference from what Dale says (1.5") hole and what Fast Larry says (2") hole. But they both suggest the same Mains (110). If you're under 3000 ft altitude Dale suggests 17.5's instead of 15's for pilots. Here is a link to Fast Larry's site if you would like some more info. All I know is my bike drives a hell of alot better than it did stock. Hope this helps.
