Hi, and sorry for bad english.
I've bought a 1997 Suzuki Bandit 600, and the previous ovner have done some minor modifications on the bike.
It was 4 open air kits on the bike, and aftermarked exhaust.
The bike was rejetted, and from the jets I could read "108" on them.
From the FAQ on "FastLarry's Suzuki Bandit FAQ" it says that the jets should be 100 with open air/aftermarked exhaust. Aka. Stage 1 tuning.
The problem I have is that every time i rev it to about max, 10-12000 RPM the spark plugs will become black. Due to a rich mixture of fuel.
So, I replaced the jets with, what I assume is stock. 98 - 100 - 100 - 98
I've ordered two more 100-jets.
And the AFR-screws is adjusted 1.75 turns open (from closed)
Three of them are. One was missing!!!
(Previus ovner had just plugged the hole, new one are ordered)
So, am I on the right track here?
100-injectors and 1.75 turns on the AFR-screw.
Sincerely
Robert
