need help ASAP!!!!

okay... i i pulled my tank off today and where the two hoses connect to the selector there is a steady drip of gas out of where the larger of the two hoses connects together in any position on, res, and prime, what does this mean?
and what do i do to fix it

the smaller hose is the vacuum line. when the engine is running, intake vacuum is applied to that hose, which opens the petcock and allows fuel to flow. If you have fuel flowing when ON or RES, then something is wrong in the petcock. Either rebuild or replace it depending...
