To start off, I have a 98 b6.

Ive done a few searches and now im a bit confused about getting a high level mid pipe.......

From the search i did, apparently i can use a mid-pipe from any b12, 1st & 2nd gen, and it will fit straight into the collecter box of my b6. Is this true? as my friends think they are all different sizes and wont fit into my collecter box.

Cheers.

Yep no diff 98 B6 using the B12 midpipe! What do you mean Hi level? 2nd gen (2001 up) bolt on canister mid pipe will have a tilted in @ the top flange (same bolt pattern) oval canisters for 1st gen will be turned in at top if used on a 2nd gen midpipe! Why not just buy a slip on for the bandit??? it comes w/midpipe? ....

If you're thinking about a high pipe like this:

You'll have to cut off your RH passenger peg mount since the 1G B6 has these welded on instead of bolted on like the B12's & 2G B6's.
