B12 Dyno Run
« on: July 13, 2008, 02:58:26 AM »
I ran my bike on a dyno last nite. I was pretty surprised with the results! A K &N filter was installed and valves/carburetion were adjusted. The motor has no internal mods except for a holeshot pipe, also has 25K mies. Im not sure if bike had any re-jetting done before I bought it. Maybe that was the reason. Here a scan of the data. The power curve did not scan very well. You might see it if you look close. Also the A/F mixture curve is a little noisy off idle. Maybe due to wear in the needles. Anyone seen similar results? How do I differentiate between a Holeshot full system and the stock headers. Any help much appreciated!

Nice looking hp & tq #'s - unless this dyno reads abnormally high, I would suspect there is a jet kit in there, too.  Those #'s are about right for a jet kit & slip-on w/mid-pipe.

A full header would probably add another couple hp on top.  You can always look at Dale's charts for his various setups to get a better idea.
