shock dogbones

 :duh:excuse meif this is in the wrong place but finding my way around....does anybody know there is an accurate drawing of the dogbones at the bottom of the rear shock on a gen 2 1200 to raise the height of the rear of the bike,eg type of metal .thickness.etc etc  cheers     slo

  I just took mine off and gave it to my brother-in-law.He has a welding fab shop. He has a cnc machine that cut out a set out of 1/4" (I think?) steel and then I drilled my holes where I wanted. I have my stock back on now, but the extra set raises the rear for track days.

Dogbones 101 from the FAQ - Sadly, the pics have been lost due to the author moving away from the Bandit community and changing/deleting the address of his pics, but you can get a general idea.  IIRC, 1/4" shorter between the holes will raise the tail ~1.3-1.5" - which is generally considered the most you wanna go.
