Stainless steel hoses.
« on: December 10, 2006, 10:05:47 AM »
Hi chaps and chapess's.
I have notice on some of these bandits on this site and others a host of stainless steel hoses coming out of various parts of the engines. I have a new 06' 1200 bandit which i use to ride to work every day. Is this some tune up mod for the engine, or just a show thing. Id quite like to fit them to my bike, should there be some perrformance advantage, or help for the engine.

Cheers.

Holeshot sells what they call a "top end oiler kit," if thats what you mean.  I guess it supplies alot more oil to the cams & valves, but I dont think these engines really had top end oiling problems (as long as they were mainly kept on 2 wheels).

I used to think the brain was the most fascinating organ in the body.  Then I thought, 'well sure, look who's telling me that.'

They are good for Cam, and Piston mods.  Other than that I really wouldn't waste the money.
