Ok, so for anyone out there that has ideas and can help..
I'm looking to get my stock 600 to wheelie on throttle, without having to slip the clutch (I'm gentle on the mechanics) with as little money spent as would be possible, though money isn't a drastic problem.
One obvious factor I can think of is to change the rear sprocket for one more teeth.. But I'm not sure by how much changing front or rear sprockets will affect the speedo reading and as close to 'accurate' as possible readings with the stock clock system would be nice (police here love to target bikers, I don't like being done for speeding).
My bike is an 02 600, so the speedo isn't from the front wheel and from what I can gather, I would need a little electronic box (details of which don't spring to mind) to adjust this which I recall being around £100.. Plus the cost of a new rear sprocket.
So that's one option I have in my head.
FYI an aftermarket can is something I have had fitted previously (removed at the moment, again due to police & non road legal can) which improved throttle response and could go back on the bike if needed..
Does anyone have any suggestions with rough prices?
Thanks a bunch :)
