It does the same thing for the B6 as it does for the B12 - which on a US or CDN model is absolutely nothing. The altered ignition in 2nd & 3rd it talks about is only altered on European models... and on those bikes you can do the same thing by clipping the wire that tells the computer what gear the bike is in.
