Ignition coil & main coil?
You and I are still not on the same page.

The Bandit has two ignition coils. Both would also be considered "main."  One fires cylinders #1 & 4, the other fires #2 & 3. The coils get their signal from the ignition control module (often referred to as a CDI, but it is not a CDI type ignition). The module gets its signal from the signal generator (and TPS/throttle position sensor if you have it - but it'll run fine with TPS unplugged).

If you have power to the coils and no spark, it can only be:

4 bad spark plugs,
4 bad high tension leads,
2 bad coils.

The odds are low that four of anything would all go bad at once. It's even odd that both coils would go bad, but if you're getting pulsed power to the coils and nothing's coming out, there's your choices.

took the bandit to george whites in swindon uk the other day
just got it back!!!!
now on the road riding it for the first time properly! yay
all it was was a red/orange wire that had partially snapped
it would let little voltage through but as soon as you loaded it it would not let anything through!
best £87 i have spent in a long time.

I don't suppose we would've ever been able to diagnose that!
Happy riding!
