Cold weather carb settings...

I am in Tennessee, and the weather is getting much colder, thus cold blooded bike syndrome is kicking in.  I have already rejeted my carbs for stage 1 Mains are at 127.5 and pilots are at 35, two shims per needle, and 3.15 out on the A/F mixture screw, lately since the temps have been reaching around 30 degrees, my bike is taking longer with the choke on, and is riding much rougher than normal.  Is there a setting that has been working well in temps down in the 30's?

Times like these Fuel injection would be nice.......

Mine runs fine in temps from freezing to >100*F and from sea level to 6000' - but then I have a 2G and the carbs are different and I'm running a Holeshot Stage II with pods.

That said, you might try richening things a smidge for cold weather since the air is more dense.

It doesn't get cold in TN. Does it even snow there?

If everything runs fine when warmer and you notice your spark plugs burn dark brown, in cold weather you might try stepping up one heat range hotter on the plugs (usually one number down). You will defiantly notice it warms up quicker just make sure you take it for just a quick test ride after warm up about 6 miles (rev between at least 4-6K) then home stop immediately (don’t let it idle). Let it cool down and pull all the plugs and read the color it should be fine as long as the tip is tan to brown not white.
I would hate to readjust the pilot jets and synchronize the carbs every 6 months for winter and summer.

Yes it actually gets cold in Tennessee, now granted we don't have to deal with 3 to 4 feet of snow, but it does get down in th 20s.  Especially at night.  And there is snow here quite a few time through out the winter, but the days warm up enough to melt the stuff with in a few days or by the evening.  Texas however especially lower texas will almost never see snow unles hell is erupting and its cold down there.

I think I am going to go a little richer with my A/F and see how it goes, when it warmed up yesterday my bike was running like a champ, no problems at all.  I think I will go with the spark plug Idea, and 10w 40 oil.  I have been running 5w 30, and my dad suggested to that as well.  Thanks for the advise, I knew that the Bandit was cold blooded, but never though I would have to adjust every time the temp dropped or rose......The 2007 Fuel injected Bandit 1250s are starting to look more appealing....
